T-28 Trojan

Designed as a replacement for the famous T6 Texan (Harvard to you and me) the T-28 was used initially for training purposes, though it eventually saw active service in Vietnam as a "COIN" aircraft (Counter Insurgency).

I have to admit that when it was first decided to make this aircraft I was less than enthusiastic, but now I've seen the finished article I have to eat my words... what a beauty! With a wingspan of over 2 metres means it will have great presence in the air, ideal for 30-50cc petrol engines. The model comes with flaps and separate gear doors for the optional tricycle retracts.
